Sealing Foam Injection Service
Protection for Today and Tomorrow

Upgraded Sealing with Polyurethane Foam
Polyurethane foam injection is one of the most effective methods for completely sealing metal enclosures against water, steam, dust, and airborne particles. This technology plays a vital role in achieving high protection ratings such as IP65 and IP67 and is essential for equipment exposed to harsh environmental conditions, including electrical panels, outdoor racks, and distribution boxes. By preventing environmental damage, this sealing method significantly increases the lifespan and reliability of industrial and electronic equipment.

Precision and Durability in Production
Ahmad Tahmasbi Company has invested in a fully automated foam injection machine equipped with PLC control, streamlining its production process and boosting product quality. This advanced system injects two-component liquid foam with precise mixing control directly into a groove in the door or body of the product. After injection, the foam spreads evenly and expands quickly to form a seamless, integrated gasket. This automated process eliminates the need for manual operations such as cutting or gluing, ensuring a reliable and durable seal.
How It Works
1
Foam Preparation and Injection
The machine accurately blends the two main components (usually polyurethane or silicone) under full PLC control and injects them via a special nozzle onto the designated path. This path may be flat, curved, or include complex angles. The multi-axis design allows millimeter-level precision and prevents any gaps or breaks in the sealing line.
2
Foam Expansion and Curing
Immediately after injection, the components react chemically and begin to expand. During this stage, foam volume, color, viscosity, and bead height can be adjusted. Curing occurs at room temperature, and within a short time, the foam achieves a soft, elastic, and stable form, ready for use in industrial or outdoor environments.
3
Creation of a Permanent Sealing Strip
Once curing is complete, the seamless foam strip adheres to the surface of the part, forming a dependable protective layer. This layer resists moisture, dust, chemicals, and extreme temperature changes. In addition to sealing, it also reduces noise and vibration, and with a lifespan of 5–10 years, significantly lowers maintenance costs.
